I am excited today because I can feel Autumn in the air. I am really more of a "Summer" person honestly, but I do love the Fall time in the mountains so much and the cooler temps and abounding color. Especially where I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley. Autumn there becomes like a complete canvas of color, smells, textures, feelings, etc. Very inspiring stuff for an artistic state of mind!

I went on a great hike/picnic with a friend of mine and her daughter this past weekend and got some great shots from that trip! I will be sure to share on DA shortly. I became inspired to get outside even more in the coming weeks.

I am definitely looking forward to more opportunities as the seasons change to get some good photos and experience new (or familiar) places. Maybe even try my hand at painting again some more.
